At the University of York, Alaena Turner chaired the day, which started with Helen Stratford introducing PaRNet to her playful strategies for exploring public spaces. Helen is a practice-led PhD researcher in the School of Architecture at the University of Sheffield. We built in extra time for discussion, following feedback from previous events, and Kirsty Surgey led this with a game of PhD Consequences. In the afternoon, Ali Campbell led a workshop that fully embedded theory within practice. Ali is a practitioner-researcher in applied performance and development theatre based at Queen Mary University London.
